Launch of the Survey of ICTs for Education in India and South Asia

PricewaterhouseCoopers and InfoDev(World Bank), invite you to join them at a public forum on the occassion of  the launch of their report on the Survey of Information and Communication Technology for Education in India & South Asia on the 21st of April 2010. This survey, commissioned by Infodev and undertaken by PricewaterhouseCoopers, is the latest in a series of regional surveys on the use of technology in education. The Survey of ICTs for Education in India and South Asia, sought to gather together in a single resource the most relevant and useful information on the way in which ICTs are being used in the Educational space in the South Asian region, with a focus on India. The survey report is in two Volumes, the first Volume is a series of Country Reports, on each of the eight South Asian countries with a more detailed focus on India. The Volume I is also accompanied by a set of Case Studies for India and Pakistan. Volume II is a series of Thematic Essays on key issues, and provides a horizontal, comparative view on such topics as policy coherence in the use of ICTs for Education, use of ICTs in non formal education and the issues surrounding capacity building for effective application of ICTs for education.
